What SustEL is
SustEL — legally Sustel Pte Ltd, a Singapore company — engineers process automation, digitalization and machine learning for liquid food plants: dairy, food, beverage, ready-to-eat and plant-based.
Most of its work is brownfield: upgrades to plants that have to keep making product while the work happens. Engineering and IP sit in Singapore; sourcing, supply and site execution run from P. M. Electronics in Ahmedabad, India, under one contract.
The four disciplines
SustEL delivers a plant upgrade across four disciplines, under a single contract rather than split between a consultant, an integrator and a software vendor.
01 Process engineering
Process description, P&ID, equipment and utility sizing, interlock and safety logic.
02 Automation
PLC and SCADA development, recipe and batch control, CIP automation, network architecture — on whichever control platform the plant already runs.
03 Digitalization
Turning what a plant already records into something a manager can act on: every clean, every batch, every setpoint, logged and reportable.
04 AI and machine learning
Models that learn a line's own normal behaviour and flag drift while every reading is still inside its alarm limit.
